Highly interested in the interactions of ecosystems with a main focus on plants and a growing interest in soil microbiology. 

PhD topic: How social insects can affect plant communities in tropical rainforests (Borneo) through altering soil properties. 

Subtopic: How soil microbial communties are affected and their possible role in shaping plant communities.
