Host specificity of leaf-mining insects in lowland rainforests of New Guinea
Leaf mining insects are feeding inside leaves of their host plants and are thus intimately associated with their host. We have studied leaf-mining communities, composed from moths, beetles and flies, on 90 species of trees in a lowland rainforest.
