Biosketch
I am a Marie Curie Fellow at the University of South Bohemia and Biology Centre of the Czech Academy of Sciences. I have spent several years in Norway, almost a year in the Netherlands and another year in Austria.
My research focuses on ecological and evolutionary processes in aquatic habitats. Together with students and collaborators, we currently work on a range of topics including primarily ecology and life histories of aquatic insects, community assembly in small water bodies, harvesting-induced evolution and fisheries management.
